It's a $450/yr annual fee, but positions it basically against the Continental Presidents from Chase and Amex Plat in terms of concierge, services. The difference is that it looks like it includes free access to Admirals Club only and has a 10kEQM bonus based on a $40k annual spend.
Is this worth it for someone who routinely racks up enough miles to get AA Plat status every year? I currently use the AmexPlat for Admirals Club access, but this could make it worth it to switch since I would get AA miles.
The extra 10k EQMs are not a deal. With the Starwoods Amex you always get a 25% bonus, so every 40k you accumulate gives you an extra 10k. With this Citi card it is only once per year, and will not begin again until January 1. So if you charge 60k you're not getting bonus for your last 20k. Starwoods makes more sense, and it's way less than $450/year.
