CX had cut back on those menus hand out in Y class I think in the middle of last year, just another copy of UA, which they did the same to Y class too. And another reason of cut cost. On the other hand, they still hand out those small but handy amenity kit to Y pax for overnight or long flights. One other thing is CX no longer give out timetables as other asian carriers still do. They don't publish any if it since June 03. Of course compare to US carriers, timetables are long gone since 9/11. But I do hope that CX would not even like other US carriers cut out the ticket office in HKG.
