You will need a visa to enter or transit Canada - see http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/visit/visas.asp

There is no sterile international transit area like those at BKK or HKG. Upon your arrival in YYZ, you will proceed to Customs B. A CBSA officer will verify your documents and admissibility to Canada. Once you are finished with the formalities, you will proceed to the international pier of Terminal 1 to wait for your flight to SCL/EZE.
