Serious. Undies are thin and skids seep through. Regular outer clothing is much thicker and absorbant.

Let's have an underwear party on the plane. At least we are all in it together.
I don't mind someone walking down the street with their undies showing, or even if they are nude. But I don't want them sitting next to me, or on a public seat that I may use in the future.
The rule should be you can walk on the plane with undies showing, but must pull your pants up when you sit down.
