I applied for and was immediately approved for around $10K (normal for me). I checked my credit report. Barclays (Usairways card) pulled my credit report from Transunion. For me, hardly any credit issuers pull Transunion. I have many recent credit pulls on Equifax and Experian. My Transunion credit pulls are low and my credit score is high. Almost guarantees application approval.
