nice TR. too bad about the delay in YVR....although it is not as if the risks of MR's between CDN and the US are not widely known - and for that matter, even just regular travel - the US is just as bad these days. this is always something one should be mindful of, however, thanfully now with both Nexus and GE my issues with the same will be far more limited.
consider yourself lucky as YVR, with all the flights of asia and piracy issues, have detained many for much longer than you note. given the images, they could have made your life even more of a problem but they probably are less worried about pron than hollywood movies... ;-) i know one who was fined 1000 per DVD from China...
a word of advice, always travel with a clean lap top...i do when ever i cross any border.
