This apparently related somehow to either a $2,000 deposit on Nov. 10, or a $2,000 deposit Nov. 18. Notice the long delay

About three weeks later they debited my account$322.93 claiming the coins when finally counted had been miscredited. There is an obvious error since a deposit of only dollar coins could not produce an error end in cents. So far I have not been able to get this corrected.

While going by the branch to learn more, I made another deposit of coins. The branch had been told not to accept and credit them , but to send them for counting. When finally credited, the amount had odd cents, again indicating a counting problem.

The branch said the original deposit had sat there for a while, and then I made the second deposit, and since that was more money than they had room for, they then sent it in.

My original phone complaint produced a representative that could not explain anything. He could not even confirm it was a coin counting problem. I was promised an investigation with an answer within a week. I have still to receive the written answer promised.

My original idea which was that since the business account was supposed to accept up to $10,000 in coins each month, I could deposit US mint coins and meet the $750 requirement per month on a BOA offer for a new business account to earn $200 (expired). Instead, it just produced a monetary loss, and a major headache.
Quite a few posts on BofA and their 'count-by-weighing-the-coins-a-week-later-somwhere-else-and-then-debiting-your-account' nonsense

For your interest the ones I've made reference to this:

At any rate, beware of BofA in certain areas. They will with a straight face tell you it's completely reasonable for them to take your cash and send it to someone else to count, and not even in their presence let alone yours, more than a week later and via multiple parties, and then debit your account if they find a difference.

I've been lucky to get my money back, others have not been. Nonetheless when I got my money back they were very clear on making it known that this was a 'favor' to me -- or in other words, 'if this happens again we're not giving you a refund next time'.
