Hi,
I have read a few posts about US-bound LAN passengers originating in Mendoza having to collect bags/clear customs/pay Chilean entry fee in Santiago before catching their connecting flight. Assertion was that Mendoza security was not up to TSA standards.

Has anyone had this problem, or have you had an easy/fast international airside transit in Santiago?
