Also,
On the water and snacks all you have to do is ask for it and they have the option to give the points or the snack. I find that a lot of hotels have not decided what to give as a snack so they only offer you the points.
Also BW customer service can be called after the fact and will automatically add the points.
It is true there are basically zero BW's for really under 12K pts so that stinks, but all the chains are that way with their lowest redemption level. The conversion to the airmiles does stink but other than that BW is great!!=)
