Day trips ex Darwin for before/after OzFest
I've got 3 weeks leave coming up 20Oct so will be road testing some day trips to Katherine Gorge, Litchfield & Kakadu National Parks, Corroboree Billabong etc.
Katherine Gorge & Kakadu are about 3 hours drive each way so it's quite a long day including an early start so you may not want to do one the first day after arriving in DRW particularly for those of you who've come from the US.
I'm meeting up with Markis10 tomorrow night at the Crowne Plaza for the happy hour & to check out one of their function rooms or suites we'd like to have for OzFest pre/post dinner drinks. Mark has a contact there who also looks after the Holiday Inn Esplanade.
