As Hilton HH is pretty good in crediting stays, there might be a reason that your stay trigger was not pulled: If your said reward code was a typo and you used
FN601, the answer to your question is

In 10/09 Hilton HH
granted you as a one of their most valued members a free night certificate (valid for one free night at Hilton Worldwide hotels between 1/15 and 6/15/10, except at Category 7 hotels). To the contrary of
earned rewards, Hilton HH don't grant stay credit for gifted rewards.
