This revised policy came up in another thread where Le Meridien Stuttgart is not routinely offering lounge access to platinums. I thought it would be useful to bump this thread to remind us that lounge access at Le Meridien hotels is now guaranteed for platinums.

But what about the numerous LM hotels with "Royal Club" levels and lounges? Are these "Executive Lounges" under the SPG T&Cs? Here are just a couple examples:
Le Méridien Heliopolis -- Their site says, "
Le Royal Club Lounge serves cocktails and refreshments at all times of day." but their room description for a Royal Club room says, "Royal Club,
Exec Lounge Benefits, Butler, Free High Speed-internet, Airport Transfers."
Le Meridien King Edward -- "Royal Club" but the room description for the Executive Suite refers to "Exec Lounge Benefits."
