we ate at GamGam this past Aug.NEVER AGAIN yea it was that bad. Next time I will pay whatever it costs and eat at the other restaurant and have a proper Shabbos meal/s and atmosphere
The problem was I was traveling with someone who only wanted to eat there, I cant remember a worst Shabbos. The other restaurant has a Hotel attached to it to boot.
GamGam was a 3 ring circus and bearly enough food to put off the hunger pains
the link to Kosher in Venice that TWA884 provides in their post above mine has the link to both the other restaurant ( LaBalthazar) and the Hotel (Giardino del Ghetto). I spoke to some folks who ate there and they said they too made the mistake their 1st time in VCE and went to GamGam, and never looked back after going here after that.
GamGam might be doable during the week , but at all costs try your best to avoid them on Shabbos
