Not sure the Amans would suit you if you like FS Punta Mita.
Totally agree with vuittons in terms of the two recommendations for Langkawi and the combination of the two FS resorts in the Maldives in that order of preference.

The FS Langkawi has the best ever kids club that we have visited. All FS resorts has good kids clubs, but this is the only one that really stood out, both for us as parents and for our son (he was 4 or 5 when we were there). The range of activities and the quality of them was extraordinary. Some examples:
- Lots of different, high quality material available for making things. The best activity in terms of handicraft was the batik painting. Our son was able to paint the most beatiful presents for his grandparents which we framed before we gave them away. The also did things like leaf weaving, shell and coconut painting, origami etc. in addition to drawing and painting different things.
- Kids yoga was done by the actual resident yogi, not just by one of the women working in the kids club. It was excellent!
- Water activites included katamaran sailing which was a great experience (and the kids was taken very well care of in terms of life wests etc.)
- The timings for the different activities was kept. We do not like to leave our son for the whole day at the kids club, we want to have him for us to play with as well when we are on holidays. The time table which was given to us made it possible for us to choose the activities and go there when they took place and to pick him up at the right time.
- Normal games and toys but also traditional ones were available.
- Contact them to get a copy of the programme in advance if you prefer.

In addition, the quality of the staff was excellent. They would give us feedback about our son after each visit, not only in terms of what he had done, but also with regards to his personality, how he would interact with other kids, his abilities etc. - like the kids of feedback one would get in a kindergarten, but less debth of course. Also special things like we do not want our son to watch too much TV or play computer games all the time was respected.

All of us loved it there.

Of the two Maldives resorts, we preferred the kids club at Landaa because it felt to have more varied activities, more structure and it was more suitable for older kids (there is a teens club as well).

We have also visited FS Provence, Ko Samui and Seychelles with our son. The Ko Samui kids club was very good for small kids (they took kids from the age of two). They would always be at the beach before lunch which was great, they would get to know the kids before they would choose to visit the kids club up hill later on. The Seychelles kids club looked a bit chaotic, but I cannot comment further since our son preferred to swim all the time and did not want to go there.

FOOD
All FS resorts that we have taken our son to, offers good kids menues with very reasonable prices. It is also possible to add a healthy touch to the menues (not just hamburgers and pizzas for our son when we are away for two weeks). Also, if we prefer to order from the adult menu for our son, they will make sure that the portion sizes and spicyness is suitable for him. For buffets, they have been very reasonable in terms of what we have needed to pay for him. At the Maldives I would also like to mention that the employees at the poolbars were very kids friendly and often surprised with a milkshake or some fruit or bisquits for him.
For kids that find an adult meal too long, there are always drawing paper and pens available, and if the kids should fall asleep during the meal in a sofa (or in the swing at the Rhu bar at Langkawi), staff would bring sheets and pillows so that he could sleep even better (babysitters available, but we have never used this).
If there are lots of kids at a certain time, many resorts will build up a special kids buffet for breakfast where kids can help themselves (lower table) to their favorites. We experienced this at Ko Samui and Provence.

SLEEPING
Very comfortable extra beds and often possible to place these in bathroom if this would be a preferable option (it is for us since our son goes to sleep early and we do not want to be restricted to sitting outside in order not to disturb him). At Langkawi there is the massage room in the beach villas which is an excellent kids room.

WELCOME
Very good that they use kids name and give a little amenity at arrival. They know how to build loyalty from early on!!!
