Also I think if the new CAT 7 was 45,000 points I think this would be a much more understandable change. (Still dumb with this economy and all your competitors are giving more and not taking away however) Please shed some light on why there is 10,000 points between a 6 and 7 when most others are only a 5,000 point difference. What is going to make a new Cat 7 hotel so much better that it will be 10,000 more points then a Cat 6?
If you are not allowed to give us this information at this time, please pass on to the management, keeping us in the dark is not going to make it any better, and most of us are ready to bail now and not wait for more details..
HH Rep thanks for being here, and I know and I'm sure most others understand you are just the messenger but, your silence is not a very reassuring feeling! In cases like this no news is never good news. Thanks for being there even if your silence is forced, but please make sure the power players at Hilton know they are going to lose some very loyal customers, in my case not really because of the rates increasing (not that i like it at all) but they way this is being handled, and the feeling that their most loyal members are expendable and replaceable.

Hi little_dc,
The answer is yes, the old Opportunity will be a cat 1, the old cat 1 will be a new cat 2.. etc.
We hope that clarifies the program update.
Thanks for the inquiry.
