Re: Alamo Code 7012298
Boy is the extra fees for the car rental facility getting crazy. It's $3/day.
Any way, last week in Vegas, we were able to use the code after some arguing with the manager. The Entertainment online coupon didn't work, the manager wanted to see a hardcopy version of the code. We already have an Entertainment Book and there was a coupon in the book that I brought, just in case. I've been randomly entering some dates on Alamo's site and this code doesn't work. And no, you couldnt use the kiosk to do the check-in.
Just an FYI, Vegas is really packed right now. One cab driver said that the number of visitors are down, but one would never know judging by the number of people everywhere. People ARE spending and there are lots of kids, many babies around. I dunno how parents could do that to their children. The lines at the Alamo counter are quite long, much longer than any of the other rental car agencies. Some of their cars weren't in tip-top shape but drivable. We were originally given a Toyota Matrix (as a compact) but a Chrysler Sebring just happened to arrive so we took that instead. The Matrix's A/C would've left us in a horrible state in the 115-118F temps.
