Nitpick About Cocktail Waitresses At "M"
First of all, I think the new "M" Resort is fantastic...great decor, very cool pool, fantastic buffet, really nice restaurants, etc. etc. Worth every penny of the $1 Billion it cost to build.
One of their very cool features is the fact that they have free soft drink dispensers located throughout the casino floor - just step up, fill your glass with ice (if it hasn't run out on a busy weekend night) and get your Coke or lemonade or whatever.
So far, so good.
However, the cocktail waitresses are the most aggressive, borderline nasty you have ever met. They will see you have your soft drink cup full and still ask if you want a drink - not just in passing, but come up to your face and demand an answer!
Now I know they live from tips, and it probably pisses them off that they are not getting tips for these soft drinks, but still...
I mean, there is nothing wrong with walking the aisles saying, "Drinks, Cocktails..." and waiting for someone to wave them over, but seeing you have your Coke in a cup at your machine - and then asking, "Drinks?" and leaning over and literally putting their face in yours and asking again, "Drinks?!" is a bit much.
I have politely said "no thank you" the last five times you walked by and demanded an answer - what possibly makes you think I have suddenly decided to toss this Coke order a scotch and soda now?!
Yes, in the grand scheme of things, this is a minor nitpick, but wow - they are really getting aggressive there.
