If you want a card backed solely by the business and without personal liability, it must be a "corporate guarantee" account - not "joint and several." Few banks issue these in the small business segment. You will need to ask for it specifically and, if the issuer will take an application, they will require business financial statements, etc. If your business has solid cashflow and has been established for a while, it is possible that you can get this type of account. But keep in mind that the line may not be as high as an account with joint liability.
