Further to my earlier posts on the Regional Art Gallery, please consider visiting the local contemporary art venue during your stay in Cairns. The good news is that:
- entry is FREE
- it is located within 50 yards of the Holiday Inn (corner Florence and Abbott Streets)
- there is a handy gift shop with more unusual wares for purchase
You can't miss it, there are human-sized colourful giant jelly babies outside the building (now that's what I call contemporary art - even more colourful than Crocs plastic sandals!!!)!
