As mentioned before I was one of the people that had all of my foxtel accounts cancelled. I'm definitely disappointed, but enjoyed the 6 nights that I got in.

As other people have mentioned, this is hit and miss right now. I was honest with my name and CC address each and maybe that was my problem. At the same time. I have turned multiple friends on to this and nobody has reported any problems yet.

One of the Problems with the Foxtel accounts as well as the others was the booking deadline. As soon as you booked many rooms you became more transparent and easier to figure out.

That being said the new $30 promo seems to be better, because there is no booking deadline at least for now. $30 is obviously not as good as $50, but by holding off and booking a few days before travel your true identity nay not be out there long enough for your reservations to be cancelled.
