I wasn't aware of it before. I've now used the link supplied but didn't try to install UAS because it wasn't the least bit clear -- to me, anyway -- what it does. I'll guess that it makes websites think you're using IE when you're actually using Firefox. Am I close?

I thought the UAS was a Firefox add-on. Or are you referring to the fact that in order to use Live Perks or the Live Search Toolbar you have to install IE add-ons?
In any case, even if I could persuade Microsoft that I was using IE when I wasn't, I wouldn't have thought I could install the necessary IE add-ons into FF. Is that really possible? Or am I not understanding things?
