Workers Painted Over Banksy’s Art at This Hotel

Workers reportedly painted over Banky’s £4 million artwork at the luxurious Geejam Hotel in Jamaica with white paint after they mistook it for standard graffiti. A source said the hotel’s owners – who are friends with the artist – were “mortified.” Restoring the work that was left in 2006 could cost up to £120,000, according to the Daily Mail.
