Is the Pearson Strike Causing Delays? Workers, Mgmt. Have Wildly Differing Accounts

Swissport, the company that employs the workers striking at Toronto Pearson Airport (YYZ), claims that no major delays resulted from the workers’ strike on Sunday afternoon, but a spokesperson for Teamsters, the organization representing the striking workers, claims that there were reports of baggage backlogs leading to various flight delays.

The strike was enacted due to cuts to pay and benefits.
