United Employee Shoves 71-Year-Old Man to Ground

Chicago, IL, USA - March 17, 2016: A United Airlines 747-400 landing on 28C at the Chicago O'hare Airport.

Ronald Tigner, a 71-year-old Houston man, has filed a lawsuit against United Airlines after a United employee knocked him to the ground at George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH). Video footage shows Tigner being shoved to the ground by a United Airlines customer service representative in full view of the United ticket counter. Tigner was left unattended and apparently unconscious for several minutes before another passenger checked on the prone septuagenarian.

United claims that the employee, Alejandro Anastasia, has since been terminated.
