Turbulence Injures 43 on Malaysia Flight

A Malaysia Airlines flight from Heathrow Airport (LHR) to Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KUL) encountered turbulence that reportedly left 37 passengers and six crew members injured Sunday. According to The Independent, a passenger onboard flight MH1 claims, “the turbulence got so bad, passengers floated in the air for 10 seconds before some landed painfully.”

The Airbus A380 eventually landed safely at KUL and Malaysia Airlines has apologized for the incident.
