These Robots Will Be Deployed to Reduce Airport Waits

Leo and KATE, robots designed by SITA Lab, are intended to improve customer experiences at airports, including a streamlined check-in process and baggage assistance. Leo, whose purpose is to check baggage by storing customer items within a storage unit, is undergoing a dry run at Geneva Airport (GVA), while KATE, whose function is identifying congestion and checking passengers in, is expected to be given a trial run shortly after. If successful, the robot program is expected to expand.
