STR Reopens After Bomb Threat

Flights have resumed at Stuttgart Airport (STR) after fear of a bomb attack on Sunday temporarily suspended all flights to and from the airport. Passengers at the German airport were removed from an aircraft, and two flyers were arrested after an onboard incident in which one passenger said that another was in possession of a bomb.

“In view of the global political situation and the way in which the passenger met us, we had to take the threat seriously,” said a police spokesperson.
