‘Smart’ Sleep Mask Tricks Your Brain

Polish-American start-up company Inteliclinic has unveiled a ‘smart’ sleep mask that boasts the ability to help travelers sleep better by using embedded lights to negate the effects of jet lag. The Neuroon mask boasts the ability to implement body measurements, including brain waves, eye movements and body temperature in order to create a personalized treatment plan that tailors itself to the user’s needs. The user wears the mask during sleep, and a sequence of light flashes will allegedly manipulate the body’s melatonin distribution to regulate the internal clock, leaving the user feeling rested and refreshed.
