Possible Bird Strike Grounds JetBlue Flight

On Wednesday, a JetBlue flight departing from Washington Dulles International Airport (IAD) was forced to make an emergency landing after possibly colliding with a bird only 15 minutes after takeoff, according to reports. The flight was headed to John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) at the time of the incident. According to the Metro Washington Airports Authority, a Fire & Rescue unit dispatched to assess the damage found what appeared to be a fuel leak.
