Norwegian Air announced Monday that they plan to launch nonstop service between Las Vegas’ McCarran International Airport (LAS) and London Gatwick Airport (LGW). This new route would be Norwegian’s fourth route out of Las Vegas, including flights to Stockholm, Sweden and Copenhagen, Denmark; Oslo flights are set to commence in November. The Gatwick flights will be a dry run to determine whether there is sufficient demand for a third carrier to fly between Las Vegas and London. “Norwegian is very committed to growing the U.S. market, and we are delighted to grow our presence at McCarran International Airport by adding service to London Gatwick,” said Thomas Ramdahl, Chief Commercial Officer of Norwegian Air.
