MSP to Install Automated Bin Dispensers, Conveyors

Last week, the Metropolitan Airports Commission agreed to let Minneapolis St. Paul International Airport (MSP) purchase several automated security lanes in order to allow the airport to increase passenger capacity by up to 40 percent.

“From the little bit of data we’ve seen from other airports, they are showing quite an increase in efficiencies,” said the Director of Airport Development, Bridget Rief. “People are able to process faster through the system.”
