MH370 Search Officially Called Off

The search for Malaysia Airlines Flight 370 that went missing on March 8, 2014 has official been called off. Other than a few pieces of debris, no substantial findings have confirmed the whereabouts of the plane, leading the countries involved in the expensive search to decide against investigating further.

“The decision to suspend the underwater search has not been taken lightly nor without sadness,” the Joint Agency Coordination Center in Australia said today in an announcement.
