Marriott Hotel Introduces $219 Doughnuts

The J.W. Marriott Desert Springs Resort & Spa in Palm Desert, California is taking hotel fare to a new level with 10-lb pink doughnuts. Ambassadors of their new Donut Disturb package, they can be ordered and delivered via room service for just $219 (without tip).
To be fair, the price covers quite a lot of doughnut — the pink confection is three feet wide and a foot high and comes with a side of milkshakes — whether the price is worth the meal (or the Instagram) is up to every traveler to decide for themselves.

I realise the imperial system does not come natural to me, but unless that man is a giant, I have difficulty believing that doughnut is three feet wide. Perhaps the circumference is 3 feet? Also, and I do hate it when the facts get in the way of a good headline, but it appears the 219 USD quoted is the starting price for the nightly rate of a package which includes the doughnut (and a 50 USD per night resort credit).
