Man Says Ice Fell From Plane, Onto His Roof

A 69-year-old UK homeowner claims a piece of ice that recently damaged the roof of his house belonged to a plane that flew overhead. The block of ice weighed in around 10kg, or, as Metro put it, “the weight of two domestic cats.” Though the man, Wahram Manoukian, reached out to the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) for an investigation, the group said the chances of a plane being at fault was very slim.
