Lucky Holidaymaker Gets Plane to Self

Last year, an economy flight was turned into a de facto private jet for Austrian travel blogger Alex Simon, 28, when he was the only person to book a flight with , from Manila to beautiful, scenic Boracay. The flight held only Simon, two flight attendants and two pilots, and the cabin crew had fun taking turns filming Simon stretching out in his seat as well as taking photos with him.

Flights from Manila to Boracay are normally crammed with passengers, according to Simon, who also said, “I just had luck, I think, that no one else was interested on this day to fly to paradise.” Simon posted a three-and-a-half minute video on his YouTube channel in February of last year, but it went viral this week after making the rounds on social media.
