Look at This Fancy Dog Sitting on a Flight
On Friday, Twitter user Mark Halperin discovered that his seatmate aboard a Delta Air Lines flight was an adorable, shaggy dog in a bowtie, and tweeted annoyance – not at being seated next to a dog, because he’s not a monster who hates magic, but because Delta had allegedly seated the dog away from their owner.
Seriously, @delta??!? pic.twitter.com/j9pZlcDyAU

That's the owner briefly w/ his dog to try to get him settled in dog's own seat pre moving across aisle, where he was inexplicably assigned https://t.co/h701v8ZjK2

By the time I figured out situation, we were about to taxi, dog on its own, & no one trying to fix it. So of course I offered & switched https://t.co/dJ7PtRejsi

It was nice you offered to switch seats with the dog's owner. I am assuming the dog was on a paid seat? If it was on a paid seat, the seating should have been arranged by the dog's owner in advance. If it wasn't on a paid seat an emotional support animal is allowed to sit at the feet of its owner. Especially an emotional support animal/dog who is trained to stay with its owner at all times. Times when I need to travel with my dog, I get the last row, aisle (me) and window (pooch) on two paid flex tickets in First Class (domestic).
