Light Strike Leaves Holes in BA Plane

A recent lightning strike left a BA plane that had just departed from Heathrow Airport (LHR) with 46 holes. The Boeing 787-8 continued onward with its 9-hour journey to Chennai.  A spokesperson for the airline later said, “Our highly qualified engineers inspected and repaired some minor damage caused by a lightning strike, before the aircraft safely returned to service.”

Only 46 holes? And though the holes were rather small They had to count them all Now they know how many holes it takes to fill the Aircraft Hull I think that spokesman for British Airways was named John Lennon...
