Jet2 Pilot Spotted With Beer in Cockpit

Jet 2 passenger Steve Lewis took a photo on a recent flight of what appeared to be an unopened can of Stella Artois sitting on top of a napkin on the cockpit controls.

According to Lewis, when he raised his concerns to Jet2, he was told that the flight in question was not a Jet2 flight, despite the carrier’s logo being clearly visible in the photograph.

A spokesperson for Jet2 explained the incident: “Upon further investigation of the photograph, we can confirm that it is an unopened can which had been handed to a member of our cabin crew by a customer when they were leaving the aircraft.”
