Investigation Launched After Virgin Flight Veers Off Runway

An investigation has been launched after a Virgin Australia flight veered off the runway at Darwin International Airport (DRW) Tuesday. The Boeing 737 reportedly endured windy conditions upon landing and suffered enough damage to be considered a serious incident. The investigation, conducted by the Australian Transport Safety Bureau (ATSB), is set to be finished September 2017.
