“Internet Room” in N. Korea’s New Terminal Is Missing Something…

The new terminal at Pyongyang Sunan International Airport (FNJ) has a lot of things going for it, but Wi-Fi isn’t one of those things. The terminal’s “Internet Room” – built to let tourists know the country is just like other modern destinations – is devoid of any actual means of connecting to the Internet. According to an AP reporter who recently visited the new terminal, this could be due to the lack of keyboards in these rooms or heavy regulations the government imposes on the the country’s Internet.

Officials have yet to clarify the reason for the lack of Internet. Very few North Koreans have access to personal computers, and the limited web access is always under supervision.
