Ibiza Airport Fills With Garbage Due to Strike

Due to an airport workers’ pay strike at Ibiza Airport (IBZ) that started last Wednesday, the airport has been trashed by disgruntled tourists who have left a staggering amount of garbage in and around the airport. Low-cost carrier easyJet warned passengers flying through the airport of the conditions, saying, “The cleaning company for the terminal buildings at Ibiza airport have announced a strike from the 17th May. Please be aware that during this time the terminal and facilities in the building may not be cleaned.”
