Harrison Ford to Himself: ‘Schmuck’

After coming too close to an American Airlines flight on the taxiway while he was flying into John Wayne Airport (SNA) last month, Harrison Ford has deemed himself a “schmuck.”

Ford’s mishap has been investigated by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), who recently released audio recordings with the Star Wars actor.

“Yeah, hi, it’s Husky Eight-Niner Hotel Uniform (call sign) and the schmuck that landed on the taxiway,” Ford says on the recording.

No injuries were reported, and while the air traffic controller told Ford his mistake was “no big deal,” he disagreed. “It’s a big deal for me,” Ford responded.
