French ATC Strike Causes Chaos for BA, EasyJet, Ryanair

Over a thousand flights are slated to be canceled starting the week of March 6 due to the current strike by French air traffic controllers. Several carriers, including British Airways and easyJet, canceled several flights Monday – easyJet canceled 38 flights, Ryanair claims to have canceled 45 flights, and British Airways canceled an unspecified number of flights as it claims to be deploying larger aircraft to aid more flyers with reaching their destinations.
