Film Festival Cuts United Ad

Organizers at the Tribeca Film Festival have decided to cut a United Airlines advertisement two weeks after the airline faced controversy when they ordered a passenger to be dragged off a flight. The 30-second commercial promoted the airline’s Polaris Business Class. It reportedly aired Thursday and Friday before several films, but was pulled by Saturday due to negative reactions from audiences.
