FAA: Will Seattle Skyscraper Interfere With Air Traffic?
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is calling out the developers of a Seattle skyscraper that could represent a “proposed hazard to air traffic.” Authorities are claiming the location of the planned 102-story office building is located too close to Seattle’s airports and Boeing’s headquarters.
According to the FAA, “The structure as described exceeds obstruction standard and/or would have an adverse physical or electromagnetic interference effect upon navigable airspace or air navigation facilities.”
