FAA: Drones Must Steer Clear of Super Bowl 50
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is warning Super Bowl 50 attendees and Santa Clara, California residents alike that their drones will be removed with “deadly force” if the machines are flown within 32 miles of Levi’s Stadium, where the game will take place. A public service announcement from the FAA read, “Bring your lucky jersey. Bring your face paint. Bring your team spirit. But leave your drone at home.” If an aircraft poses a threat to security, the FAA will use force against it, as stated in its regulations.
