Condor Airlines has warned pilots employed by the airline that they could face up to two years in prison and the revocation of flying credentials if the pilots are found to have illegally recorded flight attendants engaged in sexual acts, as well as passed it around among themselves.

“We have learned of the following facts: within the circle of the pilots, there are obviously some colleagues secretly taking photos and/or video recordings of the female colleagues who show the affected persons in clear sexual acts,” read an internal letter to pilots from the carrier.

Dear Ryan, The second paragraph is just a very awkward sentence. What is that, direct speech or quotation in the quotation marks here? “We have learned ....,” read an internal letter to pilots from the carrier. Did you mean to say "readS ... letter", as in ``The letter reads: "..." '' ? Even with that, this sentence structure sounds rather awkward.
