Bomb-Themed Wi-Fi Network Delays Flight

An Australian flight from Melbourne to Perth was delayed for three hours when an onboard passenger made flight crew aware of a Wi-Fi hotspot named “Mobile Detonation Device.” The Qantas pilot for the flight announced that the plane would not depart until the source of the hotspot located. “After half an hour no one came forward, the Wi-Fi covered a fair distance so could’ve been someone in the terminal, ” said an anonymous source to Yahoo7, and over 40 passengers were so anxious that they refused to board the flight, causing delays due to luggage retrieval and unloading.
