Bird Grounds EasyJet Flight

An easyJet flight from Inverness Airport (INV) to Gatwick Airport (LGW) turned around and made an emergency landing after colliding with a bird in mid-flight. Flyers aboard the flight reported hearing a “horrendous noise” as the bird made contact with the aircraft.
“It was like going over a rumble strip on the motorway at 1,000mph,” said passenger Graham Paterson.
