IAG CEO Demands Protection From Drones

Willie Walsh, CEO of International Airlines Group, is demanding drone owners sign a register to operate their devices at the risk of interfering with flights.  “I think it is inevitable we will see more restrictions on the ownership of drones,” Walsh said in a recent statement.

The CEO’s comments come shortly after a BA flight was allegedly struck by what was thought to be a drone upon landing at Heathrow Airport (LHR).
